Our Story
Written in Steel was established in the early spring of 2020 , with no name and no idea we would be where we are at today with the business. We were at a vendor event and met a couple with the steel signs and saw the excitement of customers for the product. We approached them asking if they would consider being in our area, but due to the distance declined to come personally. We were able to work out an arrangement with them to sell their product in our area The first year we sold on a commission basis quickly realizing the potential of the product. In the fall of 2020, we were offered the opportunity to buy out the business. This became a reality in the spring of 2021 and we purchased the remaining inventory. Since then we have been working with local machine shops and selling at a very large Flea Market in our area. As the sales increased and customers continually asking how they could get our products when they returned home, we decided the next step would be here on our website.
